To say hello is very easy. You just say “Hallo”. You can also say “hi!”

To say “bye”, you can informally say “Tschüss”!

Germans understand a lot of languages when saying bye informally:

  • Bye
  • Ciao
  • Tschüss
  • Bis später
  • I'll be back
  • See you later Aligator
