Yeah I was just reacting to hearing someone say that recently. That "both sides" are doing it. When is predominately 1 side doing it. I'm not sure I even know of someone on the "left" that says things like he was saying. I could be wrong and willing to admit it if someone could produce said person. Sort of the heart of the respective ideologies. Leftists are inclined towards egalitarianism and comradre, with the view that a handful of selfish people are hording wealth to the immiseration of all. Reactionaries are inclined towards eugenics and the theory that a favored few deserve it all, with the view that "culling the herd" of undesirables is important and necessary work for a society to perform.
You'd like to think that a leftist would have been the one to end Kirk's career abruptly.
