5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.
He didn't believe in empathy, so I'm going to honour him by not having empathy for him. He was in a position of authority and power and advocated for gun violence over the lives of kids, saying the deaths in school shootings are "worth it". I can only sympathise for his poor children though. Jesus!!
I don't live in America but I heard 3 kids are currently in critical condition after a school/mass shooting. It's weird how this got way more media coverage

How DARE you try to politicize this tragedy. We need to focus on how obviously the leftists are all violent murderers right now, before we actually find out who did it in case the person turns out to be another unhinged MAGA with some sort of infighting driven motive and we have to pretend it never happened again.
Trump ordered flags at half mast until Sunday. So this piece of shit got what he quite literally asked for and it’s a national tragedy, but innocent children killed in schools on a weekly basis get “nothing we can do about it, thoughts an prayers 🤷♂️.” Fucking clownshow.
I just want to point out some things since everyone is assuming it was a leftist shooter:
You know who has lots of people who can shoot well at long distances?
The government.
Being realistic the person shooting probably did disagree with his politics but until the shooter is caught we have no idea what the motives were. And there are other credible possibilities - a political / financial / personal rival, an opportunist / fantasist, a hit, or even a false flag. For all anyone knows he fucked the wrong dude's wife. When the perp is caught we'll find out.
He deserves the same empathy and compassion he gave to other victims of gun violence.
Always glad to see a soldier of the ruling class get their comeuppance.

Considering some of his comments over the years, I'm torn whether this is ironic, appropriate, or hilarious.

Sucks for his wife and kid(s) but otherwise nothing of value was lost. He made his silver spewing hate and oppression.
