And the US is also in the process of losing a shitload of high-performing scientists and engineers, because they’re not amused by or optimistic about the trajectory of the country. That’s called brain drain. Ask Russia how that’s going for them.
I wanted to be an engineer after watching how its made religiously. I wanted to make everything. Turns out the only way to make money making things in the US is if they're intended to kill people.
Believe me, I’m aware.
Yeah. Within the past year, I’ve been employed at 3 different manufacturing jobs in 3 different industries that told me to get lost because they didn’t have the sales to afford to pay their employees.
