It might be dumb but I'm proud of myself. I did this to my off the rack Ibanez AZES40:

  • Installed graphite string trees
  • installed locking tuners
  • polished frets
  • moisturized fretboard
  • set pickup height
  • lowered the action
  • intonated
  • changed the strings (obviously)

Awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's especially satisfying when you have the confidence to do work to your friends' guitars and have them be super happy afterward. Keep it up! Find videos on Youtube about nut height and truss rod adjustments. I'd say that's your next step. Stewmac.com has the tools you need. If your interest takes you further. :)
