I don't think this is true.

There is a seething anger at the unfairness with which Trump has been treated.

The solution is to hold all malefactors responsible; not to allow all of them to individually evade responsibility by pointing to the crimes of each other and claim that the crimes of the other guy or gal were worse.

I know that I am sick of his whining. Continuous negativism is depressing. I think people generally respond better to a positive message. People want to** feel positive** about their future.
