Recruit me, notorious china spies, cuz i'm a xi fan now.

So I, being in America, always heard China bad, Xi bad, Russia bad, Putin bad, North Korea bad, Kim bad and at their recent summit realized I just sort of lumped them all together as identical 'badguys'. Turns out that's not the case.

I first researched Xi and was taken aback by a feeling of him being an actual boss leader totally deserving of his place. Started worse than a peasant cuz his daddy was exiled by the cultural revolution but basically went up, up, up and was continuously given more and more power cuz he always improved things. Here's a wiki screenshot that shows what I'm talking about.

given leadership of a county, restructured it, tripled farmer's income in a single year. Turned it from a backwater nothing in to an economically successful place. And notice how the following paragraphs continue that trend. Xi is very good at cultivating places. So, before I get in to the second part of why I'm now a xi fangirl who will probably be detained by the cia, let's talk about Putin.

After reading Xi I was excited to read Putin. Turns out they are nothing alike. Putin was in Russian secret intelligence stuff. He did spying, covert stuff, secret stuff, secret stuff with documents, other covert stuff. Lot's of it is mysterious and some seems sensationalized and somehow simultaneously downplayed both for Putin's benefit. Apparently, he popped out the top of Russian security agency equivalent to cia (i believe) to become president. Totally different person from Xi. Xi is the master cultivator of empire. Putin is the secret service chess player that outplays his targets. Putin's writing in college was something about using natural resource wealth as leverage to get one's way in international trade. Anyway, I had eagerly delved more in to Xi, but not so much Putin. They seem to be leaders of different calibers. Putin can control and outplay and be a canny beast, but Xi feels like the one I would put my money on for actually growing a longterm successful, prosperous empire. I feel if I delved more in to Putin I would be like 'meh' or 'ewww', while I feel inspired by Xi.

So here's the second Xi thing.

I love his words. I've never really been able to get in to any of the famous Americans (like from the revolutionary era) nor the writings of other enlightened rulers nor even marx. But I find Xi very easy to follow, artistic, and wise. Here are some examples.

yes much agree.

notice how he quotes tons of wise sayings

So yes, I recognize the country I am in, America, and the countries most of you are in, Canadia and Europe, are competing somewhat hostily with China. Yes they are bad at lgbtq, freedom, etc. Doesn't stop me from recognizing xi is a great leader and thinking nearly anything he says is 1000times wiser than what the leader of my own country, Trump, says. I guess I'm a dirty terrorist china sympathizer commy. so deport me

Hmmm, Xi may be more capable and def less clownish compared to Trump or Kim, but the system he enforces is still way too repressive. And that’s not something I can ignore just because he’s effective at some things.

As for if he's better or worse than Trump..um, that's a good question!
