Joe Biden said Tuesday that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell stopped the Obama administration from speaking out about Russian interference in the 2016 campaign by refusing to sign on to a bipartisan statement of condemnation.

That moment, the former Democratic vice president said, made him think “the die had been cast ... this was all about the political play.

Moscow Mitch can shut his traitor ass up and get the fuck out

[–] bizzle@lemmy.world 22 points 1 week ago

“We’re in so much danger! And no one could have predicted it! If only someone could have warned us!”

[–] favoredponcho@lemmy.zip 19 points 1 week ago

If only there were something you could’ve done to stop it, Mitch.

[–] Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works 17 points 1 week ago

It's all your fucking fault, Mitch

[–] JakenVeina@midwest.social 16 points 1 week ago

Just so everyone's clear on this, this is not a "receiving the consequences of my own actions" moment. Mitch is LYING.

McConnel has ALWAYS played lightning rod for the GOP, putting his face on the evil shit they do, so people hate on him, instead of the entire party. He knows his role. Don't believe for a moment that he is anything other than ecstatic at the political state of the country.

The fact that he hasn't retired to enjoy the wealth and status he's made for himself just proves it: he LIKES everything that's happening. Dude's gonna die happily in office.

"Ow, this fucking hurts" says man sitting in bath tub full of acid. Allegedly, when asked by his wife why he filled the bath tub with acid and then sat in it, the man confusedly replied "why is this happening to me?".

The man was treated for severe acid burns at St. Anne's hospital early Tuesday morning. When an attempt was made to contact the man, the sounds of fizzing could be heard in the background by our reporter, as the man, likely oblivious to the phone call, could be heard saying "now to sit in this bathtub full of acid and get back on track".

Acting like none of this was the plan, that he is generally disturbed by our current velocity, and this is isn’t all more horseshit dripping out of his beak is extremely naive.

He will be sleeping with Kissinger soon and they can go roll-mode around Hell for eternity.

Trump is suppose to break the system. It is the only way to get an Independent in the running. I said this the 1st time he was elected but people are stubborn and believe what politicians tell them. So then Biden happened.

[–] piccolo@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 week ago

He's for sure breaking the system... but doubling down on the corruption.
