I work in a cubicle with a "closed" office next to me. Recently someone moved into the office and she consistently joins meetings with her volume at max. Even with the door shut I can clearly hear everything.
I don't want to hear her meetings. I could at least tolerate it if she was the one speaking, but there is no reason I should be hearing anything from her laptop speakers. Ever.
Its a problem in society that everyone deals with and it’s totally obnoxious, anyone reading, if your that person please buy some headphones because you absolutely suck
This doesn't even address the worst offenders of all - the ones that are talking loudly and are on speakerphone with the phone up by their face for all to hear.
Especially when they speak super loud in a foreign language omg i want to kick them right in the ass with 5 billion joules of energy launching them at 25 thousand miles per hour off planet earth spiraling into the sun

That's honestly pretty brave, people are super attached to their phones. It's almost like waking a sleepwalker back to reality.

I agree. My phone used to really dominate my time. I've managed to claw back some of my life from it. Switching to simpler launcher really helped. Still trying to say off YT constantly though.

Honest to God, it’s not the worst idea I ever heard. Dude was showing me some corny ass AI Bigfoot telling dumb ass jokes that like a fifth grader with edge would come up with. It’s moments like this God they make me want to slowly reach for the cocked and loaded weapon by the bedside and pretend that life isn’t worth living anymore lol Seriously, that guy made murder Suicide seem like a valid option.
