They all have poorly chosen names to be fair. Open source projects choose the worst names and most confusing UX and then call everyone dumb for using programs that actually try to get people to enjoy them or at least be able to spell them
Made up spellings are bad, but good luck searching for anything that isn't a made up spelling or two words put together.
That is the clear difference to close source. YouTube, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, Adobe, Twitter, PowerPoint or Word are amazing names....

Are calckey and firefish still alive? Also Lemmy has by far the ugliest icon.
I thought CalcKey renamed themselves to Firefish, and then development on the whole project stopped? I know that Sharkey is a popular fork that still seems to be in development.
No, Firefish died off some time after it was rebranded from Calckey. (that's the short explanation)

What does seppo mean and in which language? It doesn't mean anything in the languages I know.
It means yank or someone from the USA in Australian english. Commonly used in Australia and anti-USA circles.
