Labour Day Weekend had a couple of great games, with Elks @ Stamps being a blowout. This week, the CFL's efforts to avoid Sunday games is very apparent, as I think it will be the rest of the way. I don't think I'm a fan of 3 games on Saturday, which is probably more of a pain in the arse for prairie and West coast folks. Seems like they'll usually do 2 on Friday and 2 on Saturday.

This week, I'm most looking forward to the battle for the East between the Ti-Cats and Als as well as the Banjo Bowl (Riders @ Bombers) that either team can win.

I learned something about CFL rules this week. I didn't realize play is stopped at 3 minutes to HT or end-of-game (or maybe any quarter) for a TV commercial break. I also didn't realize that after the 3 minute mark, timekeeping switches from 'running time' to 'stopped time' (in other words: from the timer continues between plays to the timer is paused between plays).

A big fan of this - make the end of the game as dramatic as possible!

Looking forward to the Banjo Bowl - hopefully the home field advantage will help put the Blue over the top.

A heartbreaker - I had to step out just after Collaros went down and Streveler came in, and...maybe it's better that way.

The odds of playoff success seem to be dwindling in Winnipeg.

Is Ottawa in a thunderstorm now? (Friday night)

Well, it looks like a snow in TSN's broadcasting

Really? That's wild. I didn't see before HT. In Q3, there doesn't appear to be precipitation but the field looks kinda boggy

A. J. Ouellette sure looked good in an Argos' uniform 😅. Nice running play for a Q3 TD for the Riders in the Banjo Bowl 🤘
