it does make me suspicious that so many grown ass men and female billionaire authors are so concerned with what kids have under their clothes

Moderator Guidelines
Moderator Guidelines
- Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
- Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
- When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
- Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
- Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
- Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
- Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
- Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
- Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
- Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
- Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
- Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
- First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
- Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
- No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
- Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
- Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.
Either only pedos are sociopathic enough to get rich, OR getting rich turns you into a pedo I won’t take any other explanations
i don't want to cast aspersions on everyone, but when i was a numbers guy, of my high net worth clients, 3/4 have been tried for CSA. i'm not sure whether my boss was a magnet for them, someone is setting up our wealthy former clients, or it's something like you said. None of our relatively poorer clients have been tried as of a year or so ago (last time i checked in). All I know is something smells off.
their brains are wired for excess over empathy
you don’t get that rich with a bleeding heart
after you’ve paid to fuck everything money can legally buy (and that is a metric fuckton of stuff) all that remains is the not legal
now throw in how money isolates you into thinking you are different (plenty of studies on this) and those kids are lesser (sub human even)
billionaire's are a disease
I think it's the latter, there are poor pedophiles after all. But when you get rich enough you slowly find yourself without real friends that can relate to you and vice versa, there's no trust and then it's just ego-boosting yes-people surrounding you all of a sudden. Of course you're gonna end up thinking you're irresistible, untouchable and able to get away with traumatizing underage teens.
And that's not even accounting for the kind of mindset one has to have in order to get to the top, all the wage theft and pollution etc.
You can only be a mindless drone for them if you give up who you truly are to be unhappy for them.
Also they rape children so they want you to look the other way.
Considering that there's like somewhere between 10,000 and 100,000 trans people for every senator, this is gravely concerning statistic
Yeah even taking the full 7386 legislative members across all states it’s a pretty stark (like 31000%) difference.
By my calculations that makes these senators many orders of magnitude more dangerous. Won't someone think of the children??
We need to start checking if someone is an US senator before we can let them piss!
just give them a bottle and a closet
As much as I love this statistic, this is only based on reported cases, meaning only those who have been caught. It's like quoting rape statistics when most of them aren't reported.
True, there are probably even more senators who are guilty of misconduct in bathrooms and the ratio is even further apart.
Grindr stats go up whenever there's a fascist (ie. Republican) national convention.
They loooove to fuck and mistreat queers, be they gay, trans, intersex or whatever. But give equal rights, ho!
the only moral prostate orgasm is my prostate orgasm
Avg senator definitely seems better equipped to pay to get rid of the problem than avg trans person
Given how many people there are salivating at the chance to report a trans women using a bathroom, I doubt the reporting bias is in favor of senators.
This is the best they can come up with, and the trans woman in question said pants not penis lol
Such a Freudian slip to understand penis instead of pants! (And how much do these people talk in the bathroom? Like, let me be!)
Basic knowledge of the English language and what people do when there aren’t any paper towels would also make any normal person who misheard that very quickly conclude that pants was the word that was said, because it is insane to say you’re going to wipe your hands on your penis to dry them.
Unfortunately transphobes are not only deeply abnormal, they’re also given newspaper columns instead of therapy.
I remember this going down in real time when the trans woman in question found the article and realized it was about her. Like, I know, Daily Fail, but Christ.
Supposing that she did say “I’m gonna wipe my hands dry on my penis” in order to provide a menacing reminder of the existence of her genitalia… How effective of a threat is that, really?
Like, try imagining someone genuinely trying to dry their hands using their dick. Idk about you, but my mental word cloud for that concept reads something like “weak”, “pathetic”, “lost”, “incompetent”. Not a very threatening concept.
Was this the "Sophie from Mars" incident?
EDIT: I believe it is. This was her response.
EDIT2: She also talked about it on her stream.
Disclaimer: She's been outed as an abuser by past partners, but that doesn't make her story about that particular incident any less credible imo. Source.
Accurate. How many senators have bribed/paid off victims before they get a chance to report it?
