A panel of 11 judges ruled 7-4 that the president’s tariffs were illegal but said they could stay in place as the case proceeds.

A federal appeals court said Friday that President Donald Trump had misused his authority when he imposed tariffs under an emergency-powers statute, ruling that only Congress has the power to apply such sweeping measures.

However, the judges said the tariffs can stay in place as the case proceeds.

“The core Congressional power to impose taxes such as tariffs is vested exclusively in the legislative branch by the Constitution,” a ruling signed by seven judges with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit said.

“Tariffs are a core Congressional power,” it said.

“However, the judges said the tariffs can stay in place as the case proceeds.”
so nothing will happen, the supreme court will overturn it….

But the supreme court will proclaim ^King^Trump can do whatever he wants anyway.

SCOTUS doesn't always rule conservatively nor day they always rule in Trump's favor. In fact, they've gone directly against him.

I'm sure many won't believe me, so here's a partial list of the cases I collected until I got bored with it.

Oh it gets to stay in place that's fun. So we all have to keep paying these illegal taxes. Just for the time being I guess?
