Love the bed balanced on the mini fridge

They'll use unopened textbooks to stabilize it

Yeah, really confused about this setup. It looks too small for a full adult as well? And no sign of sheets and pillows.

This is probably a dorm room for a US university

Extra long twin (long as a king, wide as a twin) is pretty standard for US universities. But the drawer-sets-as-bed-frame is also dorm standard.

I think the bed is on a high metal frame over the drawers and the fridge.

But with how the fridge looks wedged in between the drawers, I'm not sure there is enough clearance to actually open the fridge unless there is something going on with the hinges that I can't see.

Why is the bed levitating?

[–] dual_sport_dork@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

It's on what I assume is the top half of a bunk bed frame, but the pillars supporting it are out of shot on the left and right.

I don't think that's a bed at all. The little display in the middle suggests it's a scale, like the ones used to weigh infants at a pediatrician.

What kind of person has that poster as their only wall decor?

[–] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 3 points 2 months ago

Uh, do you not see the fire alarm?

That Monster Energy sticker really ties the room together
