Theory: X Æ A-12 Musk grew up and fought in the Eugenics Wars on the side of the communist party, killing his father in single combat and establishing an anarchist paradise on the ruins of Silicon Valley. He and his big sister are remembered in the far future as heroes.

I'm watching thru TNG for the first real time in my 43 years of life (my father was...a drinker, and liked Star Trek so I couldn't enjoy anything he did...which is how I got these scars), and Data is so much more human in that show than any A.I. I've had the displeasure of working with.

I rewatched https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Measure_of_a_Man_%28Star_Trek:_The_Next_Generation%29 a few years ago when ChatGPT started blowing up. It aged pretty well, IMO
