Europe Pub now has a PieFed instance at piefed.europe.pub! This is in addition to our existing Lemmy instance, giving you more ways to engage with the fediverse.

PieFed?

PieFed is an alternative to Lemmy that’s gaining traction, and it comes with some unique features. For example:

• Post Bundling: Comments on similar posts are bundled together, making discussions cleaner and easier to follow.
• Topics & Feeds: Organize content by topics and customize your feeds for a more tailored experience.
• Fully Federated: Just like our Lemmy instance, you can join communities across the fediverse.

Important Notes

• Separate Sign-Up: Since PieFed and Lemmy don’t share user logins, you’ll need to create a new account on the PieFed instance.
• Same Topics, Same Spirit: The PieFed instance follows the same topic guidelines as our Lemmy instance, so you’ll feel right at home.
• Hosted in Falkenstein, Germany: Your data stays of course within the EU.
