They will stay in power through manufactured crises. COVID vaccines first, followed by flu, then MMR etc. Dying people, dying kids, state of emergency, martial law. "Postponed" elections. Occupation of US cities to discourage dissent.

Meaningless wars with Central/South American countries (because Middle Eastern wars are unpopular), sold as wars against drug cartels. War refugees to destabilize Mexico, followed by "peacekeeping" forces over the border.

They try that American's world standing will keep plummeting. I know the US is incredibly inward looking, but it would be hard to hide that reality from the population.

So it's just mass murder then.

Reduce the burden on Social Security to pay for more tax cuts. 💀

[–] woelkchen@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

The courts already affirmed that the president can do anything while in power.

I don’t get it, the pandemic is over… the vaccines worked, saved some lives…

They are really sore losers aren’t they.

[–] acosmichippo@lemmy.world 27 points 1 week ago (2 children)

it doesn’t matter. ratfucker is convinced vaccines cause autism and is doing everything he can to sabotage them.

[–] cynar@lemmy.world 53 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Vaccines do increase autism numbers.

Most childhood vaccines are administered before symptoms of autism generally appear. A lot of children owed their lives to vaccines, and so got to develop autism, rather than dying.

[–] Lemmyoutofhere@lemmy.ca 35 points 1 week ago

You had me in the first half….

[–] acosmichippo@lemmy.world 22 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

i see what you're saying but please be careful framing it this way. The biggest reason by far for more autism diagnoses is greater awareness, access to healthcare, and expanding the criteria to less severe cases. We are simply identifying people with autism better than we used to.

[–] cynar@lemmy.world 17 points 1 week ago (1 children)

As a late diagnosed aspie, I fully get that. I also know that vaccines save a lot of lives, including fellow autistics.

The phrasing is also fun to derail the brains of people complaining about vaccines. It can bypass their mental defences and makes them think for a moment. It doesn't work on the hard core, but the casual idiots are easier to deprogram.

[–] rarsamx@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

You really think they'll understand?

They are incapable to read facts and statistics on how vaccines eliminated or reduced terrible illnesses.

They won't understand what you are saying.

[–] cynar@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

It depends how deep they are. I run into a depressing number that have just been caught up in the misinformation storm. Getting them to stop and think often helps recalibrate their thinking.

It doesn't help much on those that are deep enough their ego is heavily involved.

[–] polydactyl@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

Ice cream causes drowning. Just look at both numbers increase every summer

[–] WanderingThoughts@europe.pub 9 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Meanwhile the link between pollution and autism is pretty clear, and the ratfuckers are removing all environmental regulations. Autism will increase instead.

[–] acosmichippo@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Height of irony, RFKJr the "environmental lawyer". Dude completely sold out to go on this anti vax crusade.

[–] woelkchen@lemmy.world 16 points 1 week ago

The pandemic is over but the virus isn't gone. You should get yearly shots like with the regular influenza flu. That said, I live in a country with health care and both shots are free.

Look man, chattel slavery of the tau’ri is how we made a galaxy spanning empire, has to be done to be great again

[–] 58008@lemmy.world 47 points 1 week ago (2 children)

If your government is actively trying to kill you and your loved ones, I think it's only fair that you should be able to defend yourself.

Instructions unclear. Shot at a petri dish.

There it is!

Does Lenny have fun bots like Reddit did? Like, can we make a timetoXKCD bot that just shows how long a post was active before the first XKCD reference was made?

[–] Pat_Riot@lemmy.today 3 points 1 week ago

I second that amendment

[–] MedicPigBabySaver@lemmy.world 28 points 1 week ago

Release the Trump/Epstein files

[–] fox2263@lemmy.world 27 points 1 week ago

Remember during the pandemic when he wanted the vaccine bad, even made “operation warp speed” to get it out as soon as possible.

But his base were anti vax and booed him.

[–] corroded@lemmy.world 24 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Canada seems like a nice place to visit in a few months.

[–] expatriado@lemmy.world 25 points 1 week ago

Canadian to brace themselves for vaccine tourism

[–] rbos@lemmy.ca 7 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

Alberta recently banned covid vaccination for healthy children under 12, so that's fun.

Edit: also if you don't fall into the 'free' categories, it'll be $100

[–] ayyy@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 week ago

That’s not a real provence, it’s just a gas station.

[–] Madison420@lemmy.world 22 points 1 week ago

The freedom party huh? I wasn't aware freedom was so regressive and took so much from us.

[–] DeathsEmbrace@lemmy.world 15 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (2 children)

They have the most genius idea ever. If all the poor to middle class people die then that means there country is the best because only rich people can literally live now.

Edit: except they're stealing Israel's playbook by starving them

[–] Fredselfish@lemmy.world 9 points 1 week ago (3 children)

J heard part of project 2025 is tne kill off everyone but 250k people. Which is insane

[–] spankmonkey@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago

Project 2025: We have the rapture at home!

[–] ganksy@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

Yeah did they not think of who will do the work to keep them pampered? We're not to the robot stage yet

[–] njm1314@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

If I recall correctly it posits that the ideal population of America is 100 million people. Presumably 100 million white Evangelical Christian people.

[–] jaggedrobotpubes@lemmy.world 0 points 1 week ago

A bomb that spreads randomly and kills indiscriminately including the user and their friends? Sounds like a good tool to use!

[–] MyOpinion@lemmy.today 13 points 1 week ago

Sounds about right for the MAGAt Nazi stooges.

[–] frenchfryenjoyer@lemmings.world 3 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Trump's gonna ban the vaccine he says he had?

His dementia's deffo setting in
