I browsed 4chan and 8chan heavily in high school and college. Sincerely because it was like observing a human zoo full of the dumbest people to ever live. It was entertaining to watch people argue endlessly about the dumbest shit with a feeling of immunity due to no user names. 8chan was best though, it usually could be browsed for genuinely interesting things. Then the fbi got it.

Not being a member of 4chan, I had to look up what pol/tard means. The definition said that they use BBC memes. Is that a British thing, or the other BBC?

/pol/ is a political board on 4chan. /pol/tard would be derogatory term for users of that board. Term comes from word "retard" that is often used as an insult on 4chan.
