If they couldn't survive the first time they launched, how can we expect them to this time?

Eh, there's zero reason to buy a "remaster".

But if they were already releasing an "everything bundle" you might as well throw in some overall tweaks

That's my thinking too. The game isn't old enough for remaster, but additional tweaks for a definitive edition is welcome.

I only have about ~3 hours in Surviving Mars, for some reason I couldn't get into it even though the themes (Mars colonization) and gameplay are my cup of tea. Might have to get this and try and another run.

It's paradox, I'm sure they figured out how to split more of the game into DLC.
