Trump as speaker of the house would be very funny

That's my inner 'leaning into the madness' response.

IF WE MUST HAVE BARBARISM INSTEAD OF SOCIALISM THEN AT LEAST GIVE US THE FUNNIEST TIMELINE

I think trump might discover that the party needs him to actually show up to do that job

Avoids jail, but condemned to sit in on the most boring meetings every day.

I'm thinking of that picture of him election night when he won, surrounded by giddy idiots, and he's scowling because he knows he's just fucked up. Pictures like that every day, surrounded by GOP idiots who pretend to like him but make fun of him behind his back and he knows it.

Are ya ready, Don? We're going to listen to 40 nearly identical statements on chemical runoff and waterway easements today.

Imagine Trump sitting in a room but here he's not there to make money nor is he forced to be there because it's a courtroom and he's on trial. If he was the speaker - all meetings would have to be ~5 minutes tops before Trump got bored and simply left the room.
