The “What Went Wrong,” podcast just did an interesting ep on the Kill Bill films. Pretty interesting.

Kill Bill has always been my personal favorite from him. So many superhero movies and yet Kill Bill manages to have better comic book storytelling than any of them.

I like his westerns the most, with Hateful Eight just edging out Django Unchained for the top spot.

i saw inglorious basters only recently, but had heard such praise like this about it that i think my expectations of it were too high. it was kinda mid, imo.

relative to the other works of his i have seen, it is the worst so far (though there are still a few left for me to see). i guess that is a compliment, tho - his worst work isnt bad, just kinda meh.

I'm kinda suprised he could banter about it while sucking himself so much....

He makes great movies, he is a prick, nobody likes him on a personal level.
