This is pretty old, from the time he was arrested:

Anyone have the legit fundraiser link?

Please just message me with it... It's probably "against the rules" to publicize it.

Luigi for President, I don't know anything about his personal politics but he's gotta be better than Trump

[–] thermal_shock@lemmy.world 50 points 8 hours ago

The fact he allegedly started attacking from the top down is good enough for me 1000%. Fuck all this "poor people are the problem" nonsense.

[–] pineapplelover@lemmy.dbzer0.com 18 points 7 hours ago

And if he happens to commit felonies then he's on track to be president

[–] FilthyHands@sh.itjust.works 89 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

He has a few ideas about healthcare I can get behind.

[–] Nougat@fedia.io 15 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Key word here being “behind”.

[–] Bloomcole@lemmy.world 6 points 6 hours ago

Better than most Americans.
He's the only one that actually did something, unlike the people crying about Trump on social media.

That bar is buried in the deepest mineshaft ever dug.

i think i'm starting to understand those movies Journey To The Center Of The Earth and At The Earth's Core and that obsession. At one point we were actually digging just to see how fucking deep we could dig, and that's pretty neat when you think about it.

The current president has already set a precedent that politically motivated violence is a valid form of protest and free speech that doesn't warrant prosecution. Up until that the precedents were much different.

[–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 4 points 5 hours ago

Whatever happened to Hillary Clinton’s basement pizza pedophiles? Where’s the CNN FOX NEWS update on that? Remember there were all these tunnels? Where they were raping children?

[–] CosmicTurtle0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 38 points 10 hours ago (5 children)

Yeah but the current president means politically motivated violence perpetuated against the left is only valid. Violence towards the right, and him especially, is considered treason and subject to ICE detention.

[–] artifex@piefed.social 32 points 10 hours ago (2 children)

Except everybody hates health insurance execs. It’s like the one thing we can all agree on.

[–] Krono@lemmy.today 1 points 39 minutes ago

Why limit yourself to "health insurance" execs?

They are among the most egregious execs, but the capitalist rot has infected the entire system, not just one industry.

[–] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 5 points 7 hours ago

B---B---B---BINGO.

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 9 points 7 hours ago

That’s the way this country has always been

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 3 points 9 hours ago

Well he considers both types of violence speech, it's just you only have free speech to agree with him

[–] Lemminary@lemmy.world 3 points 9 hours ago

Sure, but only if you let him stack the cards against you. Why should you honor someone who doesn't even honor your law?

[–] iAvicenna@lemmy.world 48 points 9 hours ago

"gee I wonder why people are so upset"

[–] PixelatedSaturn@lemmy.world 56 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

Good strategy from him attorney.

I mean it's kind of obvious, but still.

[–] mkwt@lemmy.world 49 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

His attorney is absolutely top tier talent, and extremely well respected.

She's on MeidasTouch sometimes, she was an original talking head witht them from the start, always enjoyed her takes. Her ads she had to do were always funny too, feels like she's sort of in on the joke about the absurdity of a lawyer hawking a random product but its all good, clean, lawyerly fun 99% of the time plus a day

All im reading here is Luigi is a candidate and can recieve any amount of money possible.

Where do i vote yes?

[–] Thedogdrinkscoffee@lemmy.ca 78 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Luigi needs a presidential pardon, then run for office.

[–] teft@piefed.social 128 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

He should just run. The current guy is a convicted felon and luigi didn’t do anything.

[–] spankmonkey@lemmy.world 43 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

Also the current guy had most of his criminal cases thrown out because he was running for president.

[–] Bronzebeard@lemmy.zip 1 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

They were only dropped once he was declared the winner.

[–] spankmonkey@lemmy.world 11 points 7 hours ago

A distinction without a difference when they were delayed because he was running.

[–] Nightlight17776@lemmy.ca 18 points 10 hours ago

Luigi for president. Hell yes

[–] HappyFrog@lemmy.blahaj.zone 8 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Is there a link to the interview?

“You must be new around these parts.” There is no higher form of American free speech than the all holy dollar. Most Americans don’t even question that logic.

[–] Awkwardly_Frank@lemmy.world 7 points 7 hours ago

Most Americans question that logic, but, as money is speech, anyone who questions it in a public forum gets shouted down by those who can afford to speak more ~~"freely"~~.

[–] Pringles@sopuli.xyz 1 points 8 hours ago

The only reason why the US is not considered an illiterate country.
