Good. Stay lonely with the gang of dudes you have to pay to hang around you and whose only job is to keep people away from you.

I just went to see a movie with a big group of friends and now getting a burger, before tonight I work on a creative project with some other friends who all really respect and appreciate each other's talents.

Something this fascist freak will never have.

Elon Musk, father of 14 children was basically never seen with his kids until a CEO was shot. Now he always travels with at least one portable meat shield.

[–] Doomsider@lemmy.world 52 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

Father of 14 known children. The down low is apparently he pays women one million dollars to bear his child and she has to sign a non-disclosure agreement that she won't tell people it is his baby.

He is on record saying he wants to make a legion. That is around five thousand babies. He is one of the richest men in the world so this is within his reach. I am going to go throw up now.

[–] DrFistington@lemmy.world 25 points 21 hours ago (2 children)

A million dollars? It's sad those women don't even realize what a paltry sum of money that is. You become a billionaires concubine, and all you get is enough money to pay for a house in a low cost area, and food/medical bills/clothes/school/activities for like maybe five years at most, then you get to find a job and become a single mother that works full time. And you better be careful with your choice of housing, taxes are due every year

[–] mojofrododojo@lemmy.world 5 points 17 hours ago

yep. and at his net worth, a million is nothing, it's a rounding error

[–] quediuspayu@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 19 hours ago* (last edited 19 hours ago) (2 children)

How crazy expensive is america? One million is like thirty years of minimum wage salary before taxes in Spain. I bet I could manage to retire at 45 with that kind of money.

[–] GiuseppeAndTheYeti@midwest.social 4 points 15 hours ago* (last edited 14 hours ago)

This person is greatly exaggerating. I bought a house in central Illinois with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for $130k

Also, just having a million dollars is a big step up

Self-improvement is a poor man’s game.

[–] AllNewTypeFace@leminal.space 4 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

If you have a dominance-oriented worldview, being less shitty than your clout allows you to get away with is preemptively surrendering. Imposing your full shittiness on the world is dominance.

The former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is said to have not changed his socks daily, seeing imposing his stench on underlings and those wishing to deal with him as a power flex.

Is it fair to call someone who wants to kill the richest Nazi in the world, who wants to destroy western democracy and rule the world, a maniac?

It is good to know this guy is terrified of the consequences of his own actions. I'm sure his hired meat shield will stop and mitigate some threats. I doubt they will stop and mitigate them all.

[–] WoodScientist@lemmy.world 6 points 16 hours ago

We should feed his paranoia. Everyone should start messaging him on Twitter warning him of the prospect of mosquito-sized suicide drone assassins. Warn him there are rumors that he is the target of a group developing this technology.

Let's see if we can drive him truly mad. We'll turn him into a proper Howard Hughes in no time. He'll lock himself in a hermetically sealed bunker 24/7. And that's when the real demons kick in....

Who is going to protect him from his own security personnel?

[–] wirebeads@lemmy.ca 52 points 1 day ago

Hopefully no one.

[–] yermaw@sh.itjust.works 39 points 1 day ago

Hopefully he just vets them by asking grok "should I hire these guys"

[–] Stovetop@lemmy.world 35 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Someone should send him a historical overview of Rome's Praetorian Guard.

[–] tourist@lemmy.world 28 points 1 day ago (1 children)

please don't do that

send it to the bodyguards instead

Is the human shield kid a security professional too? By the time he's 18 he will have 16 years of bodyguard experience, the perfect employee just like in those entry level job ads.

[–] ThrowawayPermanente@sh.itjust.works 37 points 1 day ago (1 children)

For legal purposes he's a volunteer

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 32 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

For tax purposes, he's office equipment.

[–] boydster@sh.itjust.works 12 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

For balance sheet purposes, he's "Security Supplies (generic)"

20 bodyguards and 1 child human shield.

[–] Apeman42@lemmy.world 16 points 20 hours ago

Imagine being such a loser that the only job you qualify for is taking a bullet for the worst member of the parasite class.

[–] Gammelfisch@lemmy.world 5 points 16 hours ago

That's what happens when you turn into a POS. Ask the politicians.

[–] drhodl@lemmy.world 8 points 18 hours ago

Good to see that Elmo lives in fear of consequences. I hope the cunt can't have a crap in peace. His body guards are on the wrong side of history, and ought to be ashamed of themselves.

[–] AllNewTypeFace@leminal.space 6 points 17 hours ago

To be fair, one could argue that that is a cherished Afrikaner cultural tradition.

[–] NigelFrobisher@aussie.zone 7 points 18 hours ago

And that’s just to protect him from his kids.

Aspirationally kill. What a fucking turd of a human Elon is.

In the olden times, it was a big point of pride of American politics that a lot of people didn't want to kill the leaders. It was sort of assumed that in feudal style European politics, of course the common people kind of wanted to kill you, because you were threatening their safety and taking their stuff. In America, the way we did things was to earn the respect of the people you governed. The people actually wanted this person to be in charge. Why would I shoot that guy? That's who we picked, we like him.

Of course there are some caveats (slavery large among them). The reality never matched up to the ideal. But we're going back to where even the approximation of consent of the governed that we used to have, isn't assumed anymore. Fuckin bullshit

What's alarming to me is that this shows me they don't experience fear. It sounds like to them, it's an inconvenience.

So if they can't be motivated by fear, are they actually motivated by money?

I don't think so. I think they're motivated by power. Wealth has no meaning to them - you can observe the behaviors of a lot of them (with like extremely rare exceptions and they are usually the only ones not born into wealth) and they don't match up with enjoying life.

They don't seem to experience joy. So if they don't experience any emotion, that gives them a pretty concrete diagnosis of sociopathy doesn't it? So, we have the worst of the worst humans doing as much damage to the world as possible because they can't feel.

[–] rikudou@lemmings.world 9 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Yeah, very concrete diagnosis of sociopathy. Except that diagnosis doesn't exist. Please, leave the diagnosis to professionals. Not knowing the correct name is the first sign you shouldn't be doing it.

When you're the face of what a large number of people see as what is wrong with the world, having lots of security only make sense.
