U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin agrees with him that letting voters send in ballots by mail puts honest elections at risk.

"Vladimir Putin, smart guy, said you can't have an honest election with mail-in voting," Trump told Fox News Channel's "Hannity" after a nearly three-hour meeting between the leaders in Alaska. "He said there's not a country in the world that uses it now."

Trump being a pedo isn't enough, he still needs Putin's approval

trump, and the co-pedophile, ghislaine is free on WORK RELEASE.

Yeah, Putin is definitely the person Trump should be taking advice from about mail-in election ballots. 🙄

Ah yes, Putin. A man of who strongly believes in democracy. He won with 88% of the vote in his last election. His opponents are so shaken by his leadership that they keep looking themselves.

If republicans living in the 80's could see what they would become, their minds would shatter.

Mail in voting is more trustworthy that electronic voting.

Especially given the suspicious actions around the last US election ..

i only hear VOTING machines in red areas, its definitely designed to be rigged by the gop, you cant do that with paper ballots, thats why they use all sorts of voter suppression in the last election. like stop counting early, not registering the ballots that already mailed in, closing polling places early(especially during election night), plus the counties that went to harris, but sitll went for Trump somehow?

by the way this is the same thing happened to mitch mcconnels election.

As an overseas voter who lives in hell trying to save for retirement because of asinine IRS laws (can't use Japan's advantaged retirement accounts because basically everything is a PFIC, most brokerages won't touch americans, etc.), you'd best bet I'm using my rights. Fuck you and release the Epstein files, you and all your enabling republican administration.

Good thing the states decide how to do elections.

[–] aarRJaay@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Sorry, The Orange One is getting lessons on fair elections from PUTIN?? That's like going to a lion for advice on going vegetarian.

[–] Raiderkev@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Well, he probably helped Trump "win" the last election. Why wouldn't he take advice from him?
