I'm a bit tickled at folks on here howling over Putin's visit, when we've had American Presidents kissing the Saudi ring for my entire life without this much fuss. Of course, nobody dares put Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud on an ICC warrant. So I guess there's some difference.

The Democrats will say this is the worst thing ever. Then Trump leaves office and we send Pete Buttigieg in. And if anyone dares suggest Mayo Pete kowtowing to Benjamin Netanyahu is uncouth, the NYT and the WaPo will scream about antisemitism for a month.
It's the most normal thing in the world for two countries full of war criminals to collaborate.

Have people forgotten another wanted criminal getting 50+ standing ovations in Congress not long ago? On a scale of how America honours war criminals, a red carpet in Alaska seems relatively minor in comparison.
