The firm's executive chairman, Richard Walker, said that shoppers who alert staff to a theft in progress will receive a £1 credit on their Iceland Bonus Card.

Is this a joke? All you get for reporting a theft in progress is £1 of store credit?? First off, that's not worth anyone's time. Second, stealing non-essential shit is not cool. But stealing food? No sane person who can afford to buy food steals food. Personally, I'm not about to assist in punishing someone for not being able to afford food.
