Atomoxitine for the past few years. Recently I have tried modafinil to supplement it. It's like a lightweight version of stimulants. I find that I don't need a normal 100 mg dose for it to work. 50 mg is enough, and I think even 25 mg it has a noticeable effect.

I am experimenting with Adderall on one or two days per week, then modafinil for 2-3 more, with atomoxitine everyday. (I basically supplement my strattera Monday through thursday, and occasionally on a Friday to make work easier.) This seems like a really useful combination to me so far, and with this dosing schedule, it seems like it will take a very long time for me to build up a tolerance, if I ever do.

I love my prescriber. He knows that I am fairly cautious about medications, so he is willing to prescribe different things over time to see what works best.

Got one myself, cherish them and always treat them well. Life would suck if mine didnt give me the latitude they do, I like to think its a symbiotic setup and they learn as much from me :)

I go in a combo of Velafaxin and Metilfelidato that helps me to stay awake and less vitaly overwhelmed by -wide movement pointing...everything - Also is less, statistically significant, hard to focus. I still struggle to start a lot of tasks, but it is quite different if I have nothing on my body.

Edit: 40 years of struggle doesn't go away that easy, after all

I dunno if I (41) count as a kid, but I got diagnosed last year and put on atomoxetine. It's got the jumping-from-thought-to-thought under control so I can concentrate on something if I get started, and I guess making phone calls is a bit easier now. But I'm still very much ADHD, just under control a bit.

My partner's on atomoxetine with a similar experience. It doesn't magically make everything better the same way that stimulants seem to, but it's a fairly big improvement without needing to worry about the effects waning.

Yeah, it would be nice if I could get some stimulants too to help when I really need to get something done, but I can kind of work around it with large doses of caffeine. (I live in Japan where even most doctors can't prescribe amphetamines)

Yes it is. Straterra is the brand name

Generic Vyvanse finally became available a year or two ago. It's the only one that works well for me without wildly swinging my emotions all over the place.

I'm on dyanavel because my insurance covers it and I can get it mailed straight to my door. No more dealing with shitty chain drug store shortages for me. The downside is that I have to be home to sign for the package, but that's no biggie when you work from home.
