Elon is not the founder of Tesla. He sued the actual founders to bury that fact.
Sounds like a constituion/lawmaker problem to me if he won/settled (i.e. paid to win).
doesn't change the fact that he's not the founder.
No dispute on my end but the fact remains he's a unfitting example for the meme as he was the fourth CEO in the company's history and wasn't in the picture when it was founded.

much like many of his other "projects", he's not the founder. He bought it with his inheritance, then trashed the product.
I don't think Linus Thorvalds is either very stylish or really an asshole. He might be a bit short fused, but not an asshole.

Okay funny, but yeah Tesla on here kinda fucks it up because Elon is not a founder of Tesla, and he's not visionary unless you count finding new ways to make it worthless. Elon is not visionary in any of his businesses, he just has money and pays people under him to try to make him look good. Emphasis on try

Can't argue him being a 'visionary' though, unless you count ambitions that are vague enough so they are not actually actionable and obvious enough that pretty much any random person would be predicting the same thing.
Paying to say you are something doesn't mean people need to accept it. He's not a founder of Tesla under conventional understanding and he never will be. It's as simple as that

Didnβt he in fact sue the actual founders to be allowed to be called a founder?
I thought he paid extra to be able to tell that lie.
I believe the lawsuit was settled. I donβt really remember the details, but sounds super-Musky that that would be part of the terms of the settlement.

Elon to my knowledge hasn't been the founder of a single project he's been part of. He's bought everything.

Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning are the founders.
Instead of having them as the face of American EV innovation, we have some guy who's talent is being born with money and then getting lucky in a business venture.
There's hundreds or thousands of these companies which were founded by innovative and creative people that were bought out and absorbed into some giant corporation so that it doesn't ever have to compete with anybody.
Pretty sure Elmo isn't one of the founders of Tesla. And calling him a visionary is pushing it.

You all donβt know what youβre talking about. Elon absolutely is a visionary. Who else could come up with the new Tesla Roadster with rocket thruster package (source)? Now, actually brining that vision to market, yeah Elon might not be your guy. Now that I think about it, his visions are more like delusions. Maybe letβs call him a delusionary.
