What do you mean? My house is entirely furnished with bicycles. I respect your life choices but you are missing great opportunities for drying your clothes.
Would be better if it could haul standard containers. Then we could replace trucks with bikes.
The people who think you can’t haul shit in a bike have seriously never tried. As long as you’re on flat surfaces it’s just as easy as riding a bike without a load imo, save some learning curve for turns.
Ehhhh starting from stopped is hellish when you have a heavy load behind you, and maintaining momentum on the flat definitely takes a lot more. I recently got a trailer to transport my kids and where I might be able to go 20 miles on just my bike, I struggle to make it more than 3 miles with the extra 2 wheels and 80 lbs of kids behind me. Granted I live in a hilly area, but I can definitely tell that it isn't just the challenge of hills given how much slower I go on flatish sections and downhill
Really? Because I am basing this on my own kid transport setup I had when I was 20 babysitting my niece and nephew and I found it to be pretty easy to get them around with.
Makes me wonder if a better trailer would be noticeably better then. I'm just using a budget trailer that I picked up at a garage sale. Some grease on the moving bits and pumping more air in the tires certainly helped (the tires lose air pretty rapidly too) Hard to beat $20 for a bike trailer though!

Nobody hauls shit like this on their bikes, nobody ever does on their bike that has a blind spot. That’s why this picture is impressive and crazy.
I’ll tell you right now though, as a contractor, who has hauled many trucks for my company, with trailers, and for other people, blind spots are definitely a huge issue for hauling with vehicles. But yeah, guy hauling shit on his bike with blind spots is the issue.

I was just thinking about hacking together a bike trailer for hauling pallets of stuff the other day. I need a pallet jack that can lift pallets on to it though.
Well I can't ride a bike in my area at all, so I still wouldn't be able to move furniture with a bike.
Take the lane. Cover the furniture with a giant yellow tarp.
We have skinny curvy roads with high speed limits and crazy heavy truck traffic. There are crosses and bicycles painted white on the side of the road to mark the places where people took the lane.
