Those were the days, when your Craftsman tool broke (no, they did sometimes, really) you'd take it back to Sears and get a replacement for free.
While the quality of the tools may not be quite as good Lowe’s and Home Depot I believe still do this with their store brands also
Lowe's isn't going to take a socket set off the shelf and open it to hand you the 12mm the way Sears used to.
They replaced a 12 and a breaker bar just last weekend for me when I was doing a brake job which is the only reason I felt obliged to respond.

Ah. I just took you serious cuz that's what my first thought was and I figure not everyone knows what a reamer is. It's not the most commonly used tool these days.
