  1. He is a traitor
  2. This has been planned for a while
  3. Many Democrats are in on it
  4. We cannot vote our way out of this. They have to be arrested/removed.

TRUMP also made epstein files his campaign promise, some of his supporters arnt letting this go, even to the point the various platforms have to either astroturf or ban the supporters(eg, r/conservative, they completely banned the topic)

Why do people keep calling DC a state ?

[–] Deflated0ne@lemmy.world 5 points 19 hours ago

At this point I'm sure there's video of Epstein topping Chump.

[–] MedicPigBabySaver@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago

Release the Trump/Epstein files

[–] Shanmugha@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago

Uhm. Military following illegal and obviously traitorous orders is way bigger a problem, because whoever gave this order is not going to outlive the military and how they function

[–] slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 11 points 1 day ago

Sounds pretty american to me.

Him and his cronies are scared

Doesn't it bother anyone else how ineffective the left are at making this a big deal?

Biden eats a hamburger weirdly and everybody and their grandmother are screaming how it's proof he's senile and incompetent.

Trump invaded two cities and the left use the same 27 year old slogans and insults and barely make any content.

[–] slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Trump also drinks water weird. I wish they nailed him for this one. Oh yeah and that they elected a child rapist.

[–] Melvin_Ferd@lemmy.world 5 points 22 hours ago

Right you're totally right and proving my point. They elected a child rapist who eats weird and still the left lost and everybody knows that Biden is senile.

It's like we're all cooks on a baking show and every time our cake comes out deflated and looking like shit but nobody is trying to figure out why. Instead we're calling the chefs with nice cakes a bunch of Nazis. It does nothing to get us to achieving a proper competitive product and there is no reflecting within the team about why the product fucking sucks

[–] NoneOfUrBusiness@fedia.io 17 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It's because the left has allowed itself to be absorbed by establishment liberals, who have way too little stock with the people for their words to move anyone. This is the inevitable consequence of progressives regarding liberals as allies rather than slightly more tasteful (and more insidious) enemies.

[–] Melvin_Ferd@lemmy.world 2 points 22 hours ago* (last edited 15 hours ago) (1 children)

You sure?

If I was a right wing think tank my first move would be to get the left to identify as very strict categories and then create a bunch of infighting as if they're little island before I crush them.

The left fails because they don't act strategically

[–] NoneOfUrBusiness@fedia.io 6 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

You sure?

Yes? The Bernie-Trump pipeline is a thing for a reason; when people don't find solutions on the left they look for them on the right.

The left fails because they don't act strategically

What strategy could possibly be involved in talking about a thing? What's happening is plain and simple: The left is talking about the files, about the fascism, about everything, but the right isn't listening and the center is only listening to the superficial stuff. This isn't a problem that can be fixed by acting more strategically, only by adopting a better strategy.

It's also in large part the media. They focused on that shit

[–] Melvin_Ferd@lemmy.world 5 points 22 hours ago* (last edited 22 hours ago) (1 children)

Right and we are social media. The left are supposedly a much bigger population. Just by city alone. Did you see how many people drive across the country to stand in streets?

So what is stopping is from surpassing the media and online presence to overwhelm it with a message like they do when Biden blinks weird?

What the fuck are they doing that we can't figure out.

Why does it seem like nobody else is pissed off at the left for not being able to do what they do?

Is the strategy at this point to wait until the public gets tired of watching the left get their shit kicked in by bullies?

I've opened Lemmy today to see if anyone is posting Marc Maron because I fucking know they're not. I'm here to verify why we can't engage the public. We're lazy. All these people posting how they'll punch a Nazi. But there's a lot of other places they can intervene before then. But so many on the left are just talk like that while the right are actually about action. It's maddening.

[–] plyth@feddit.org 3 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

What the fuck are they doing that we can’t figure out.

Easy to influence the news if you own them.

[–] Melvin_Ferd@lemmy.world 2 points 19 hours ago* (last edited 15 hours ago) (1 children)

Yea since journalists are notoriously right wing and everyone listens to traditional news.

I just am so tired of the ideas when it makes no sense in a modern digital age. They might have funding and marketing but supposedly we have numbers. At one point we had a large presence online. We fucking handed it over while whispering 'I'll punch a Nazi if I need to' but we gave Nazis access to every corner of social media.

There's no anger on the left directed at the left for failing. There's no anger after one of the biggest fucking failures it has ever seen. Everyone assumes they did good and the reason the right is winning is because X,Y,Z. The left have lost everything because of inherent traits among the left. Without ownership and awareness, there's so much more to lose.

Just look at Washington. What do you think would happen if Biden did the same in Texas?

[–] theparadox@lemmy.world 1 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago) (1 children)

Yea since journalists are notoriously right wing and everyone listens to traditional news.

Here's the weird thing. Journalist's tend to lean left, but the people that sit in front of a camera and spout "news" for almost every major media organization? They don't lean left, they lean money and/or influence. If they lean too left they end up unemployed, or at least drop several rungs. People like Medhi Hasan that won't tow the line lose their shows.

What's left is constant criticism of every Democrat that farts in a restroom and uncertainty about whether or not full blown authoritarianism and fascism is really a big deal. Everything seems fine from their desks.

[–] Melvin_Ferd@lemmy.world 1 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago) (1 children)

Traditional media hasn't been relevant in a while. Everybody gets their news from social media. A space that the left abandoned and refuses to use.

So when I look around at all the leftist angry about the Republicans winning I get angry. I get angry at all these leftist so loud about punching a Nazi but can't bother to do some basic maintenance. As if they're going to muster up the energy to punch anything when they didn't have the energy to do the most basic form of engagement from the comfort of their own bedroom

[–] theparadox@lemmy.world 1 points 42 minutes ago

Traditional media hasn't been relevant in a while. Everybody gets their news from social media.

Agree to disagree. I think It's generational. Every boomer I know, even the liberals, absolutely watches the news on their TV. The more right wing people usually listen to talk radio. Traditional media is less relevant among the younger generations but the younger generations still lean left.

they didn't have the energy to do the most basic form of engagement from the comfort of their own bedroom

Wait wait wait. Are you saying that average people dropped the ball on using social media to spread leftist values?

  1. Nontraditional media is what is affecting so many minds and what is being shared on social media. Joe Rogan, OANN, Daily Wire, and all that garbage. Just another form of the same bullshit. Money-grubbing assholes chasing ratings/views willing to use whatever is most effective... and often funded by rich conservatives who only fund right leaning influencers.
  2. Reddit and Lemmy and all this shit is social media - it's just not where most of the right wingers are. Are you telling me the left is underrepresented on these forums? It's pretty clear that we're here in number.
  3. Social media is so effective at radicalizing people because it's an echo chamber. Are you suggesting the left should embrace the fucking right wing rabbit hole so that we can better reach radicalized people on social media? We don't control the algorithm, the new tech oligarchy that controls social media does that.

I'm not active outside this place and you couldn't get me to touch Facebook. Their algorithms, representing their interests, are what fucked social media. I deleted my account a while ago because Meta isn't getting my engagement or my ad revenue.

It sounds like you want us to fund fascist enablers and engage right wing rabbit holes in order to reach a minority of younger right wingers that have been sectioned off into their own echo chambers. Yeah, not fucking happening. That's some energy vampire shit and abso-fucking-lutely not "the most basic form of engagement".

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 6 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

Can you blame us? We haven't spent our whole lives screaming about weird shit so of course the right is better at it.

[–] Melvin_Ferd@lemmy.world 2 points 22 hours ago

But you have. It's just been less effective. And that needs serious reflection as to why.

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 48 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Normalize calling them the Trump/Epstein Files.

[–] Steve@startrek.website 15 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Normalize calling him “treasonous child fucker Trump”

[–] NocturnalMorning@lemmy.world 44 points 1 day ago (30 children)

I didn't export shit. I've been against our military industrial complex since I've known of its existence. You act like all of us are somehow in on this crap...
