This seems a little misleading. Content control as a sponsor and as a payment processor are two very different things.
Is it normal for either to actively be asking for chat bans because people are saying "mean things" (informing about their shitty decisions) about their company?
Yea, I would guess it is pretty normal for sponsors to request that.
