They’re apparently delicious when you pick them and can be thrown raw into salads. They also decompose stupid quick so they’ll disintegrate if you store them overnight.

And they also become inky?! Amazing properties. One day I'll be brave enough to forage for wild mushrooms.. 😂

When I was younger, still in middle school, we had these growing in a lot next to my childhood home out in the country. There were tons of them every fall. I'd pick them walking home from my bus stop, and my mom would saute them in butter. They were amazing.
