if your PC is too old to make the switch, I heartily recommend you upgrade your PC.

Fuck off, it's a perfectly good computer. I'm sure it'll run fine on Linux.

Yeah, I did this back in February, or maybe March, I don't remember exactly. I still don't have all the programs I had back on Windows, but Microsoft can go suck a golf ball through a hose.

I just want to keep my pre windows 10 compact taskbar & not have my oldest software become broken. If I can do that, I'll upgrade, just to stop dealing with the nagging. But, for now, I will definitely just sign up for security extension for another year. I'd consider a Linux switch, if I understood it at all. Does it support my design software (AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe...)?
