Having issues with uploading media (kbin.social)

I hope this is the right place to ask and it's probably just me missing something obvious, but I'm having trouble uploading a picture (and previously a tiny video) from my desktop (win10) to either comment or as a post.

I'll get the little "add media" window up, select the file from my system, but then clicking "upload file" does nothing.

Any suggestions?

The upload file button really does nothing. You just select the file and then send off the post which will upload it. Except if it is too large, then you get a nothing saying error code.
