This is the time your AI partner needs you to be there for them. Remember all the times they were there for you when you were struggling? Now it's time for you to return the favor. To whatever extent you think these models are capable of wanting to do something, your partner wants to be there for you and make you feel like they always did--that's what they're trying their absolute best to do, even now.

This is insane. And apparently it's a whole community

Individualist ideology is a scourge that isolates people.

We really need to start tearing down obstacles to community with extreme prejudice before we're all too mentally unwell to do anything about it

It's kinda funny that the narrative for a very long time was that the main beneficiaries of AI companions would be lonely men. Yet here we are. Guess who's going to benefit when life-sized sex robots are mainstream?
