I just think it’s wild that orangeboi and Putin assume Ukraine will just go “sure, okay”.
Ukraine will not do that. Nor should they.

Ukraine will not do that. Nor should they.
And if they are constrained, it will be the beginning of a wave of Terror in Russia...
Currently, Ukraine is flight very cleanly, by only targeting military troops and facilities. But if a peace is imposed on them, I doubt they will have the same behavior...
Agreed.
Also, I don’t remember all of the details, but there was an early 20th century peace treaty that some in the losing country considered unfair, and that ended…well?
More like the subway attack
But this time, the perpetrator would be much more difficult to identify beforehand, because they -basically- look much more Russian...
Putin assume Ukraine will just go “sure, okay”.
This one seems to have a plan, not just an assumption. And we know from the past that he's a very capable strategist and manipulator - much stronger than the other one who's still learning from him.
As an addition, one among many details what happens in Crimea to the Indigenous Peoples of Ukraine since Russia's invasion 2014:
The Foreign Ministry {of Ukraine] emphasized that Crimean Tatars are subjected to mass repression, including arrests, torture, politically motivated sentences, the ongoing ban on the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, restrictions on the right to use their native language, and searches in schools, mosques, and homes.
The Karaites and Krymchaks, small but unique Indigenous Peoples, are virtually disappearing from the cultural space of the occupied peninsula, the Ministry noted.
Just this week, a 'court' in Russian-occupied Crimea found 42-year-old Victoria Strilets and her 24-year-old daughter Oleksandr Strilets ‘guilty’ of treason in a sham trial, under Article 175 of Russia’s criminal code, and sentenced each of the women to twelve years in a medium-security prison colony, to be followed by a year of restricted liberty.
Although the ‘trial’ was held behind closed doors, Crimean Process notes its blitzkrieg nature, with this very likely pointing to pressure having been brought to bear on the two women. The ‘court hearing’ took place in the afternoon of 22 June, with the sentence passed within five hours of the next hearing, on 5 August. The human rights monitors noted that nine hours could not possibly be sufficient time to study the material concerning such grave charges.
America can let Putin have California, most of the east coast and Alaska, then we can have peace talks. Doesn’t that sound fair?
Another headline accompanied by a few lines that don't confirm the title. All the article says is that "the White House dismissed the story as speculation" and "a Kremlin spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment."
There's not even a source mentioned for the claim. But the propaganda goes on.
I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be true. In the past trump has been in favour of a "peace plan" thats one-sided to russias interest
I wouldn't be surprised of a lot of things, but this is irrelevant. This is a clickbait headline that comes out of nothing as the article doesn't even mention an anonymous source for this, it just supports OP's favorite outcome and narrative.
