I didn't know it had a paywall. Do you have uBlock Origin?

[–] cjoll4@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago (4 children)

Yeah I do. Do you think I need to disable it? This is what I see and I can't continue reading the article:

No, I have it enabled and don't see a paywall. I thought you didn't have an adblocker to block the paywall

If you're using Firefox install uBlock Origin for the sake of security alone.

If you use the Reader Mode function on Firefox you'll also be able to skip a lot of the junk and also enjoy a much more readable article.

There might be a filter list the other person has enabled but you don't.

Typically I just use NoScript and mark everything as untrusted.

Just use reader mode when you see those

OK, but where are the Epstein files?

Just how many kids did Trump rape?

Text got chopped of the end of Article 1, all the text. That isn't the surgical precision these headlines suggest.

Besides, if Trump ordered this, what's the point in trying to edit of the most widely disseminated documents in human history? Also, be a lot more sus if every government site had done this.

Wondering if Trump said he didn't like some of the sections and someone took it upon themself to delete them.

The chaos and distraction IS the point. He's actually busy trying to steal 2026.

How dare you use reason!

If anything deliberate I'd imagine it to be some protest by an employee that wanted some symbolism to back his thoughts on the administration's treatment of the Constitution.

As dumb as this administration is, I don't think even they would think they could meaningfully erase sections of the Constitution just by "clerical error"
