Hello beautiful people,

Today I had the pleasure of working with @Illecors@lemmy.cafe to set up midwest.social's email properly. HUGE shout out to them! Gmail and other emails should now work with this instance's email notifications instead of bouncing.

Update: a small issue has been found with the email server that's causing some of the emails to not get delivered. Will take a couple of hours to be fixed. Hang tight.

2nd update: issue has been resolved.

Nice work! Dealing with email services is pretty much the worst part of my job (infrastructure engineer), so I know it’s a hassle.
