I would certainly suffer short or even long-term provided all people benefit. Bc, empathy is a thing I have.

They are willing to suffer a moderate amount so long as they think their enemies are suffering more. Bc psychopathy? Just a super fucked up world view.

The Nazis used to auction off goods stolen from deported jews for cheap. That was a very popular policy at the time.
