I would just like to ask that if the only reason Trump gets prosecuted - at least by media - for this crime, why hasn't he been in the past 32 years, and who else are we giving the pass to?
I'm not saying these attempts of prosecution are "political", I'm saying the absence of the rest is.
Also, I'm a bit miffed by the code the title uses. It of course plays into the predator narrative that the piece wants to set, but it comes off as very generic, and what really happened hits much worse. What about a title like "Trump and Epstein passed me around to be groped like a toy"?

You think police listen to claims that people with a good public image are secretly sexual deviants? No. They don't. Especially if they're powerful. The person making the claim is a nobody. What are the chances they're telling the truth? They have evidence? No they don't, the police believe your evidence is probably fake so you can grift money.
Now imagine you hear that after you were taken advantage of, and tried to report it. And you hear it everytime you try to report it.
You want justice? First step is getting anyone to even listen when your accusations rock the boat. Doesn't matter the boat is built of lies and bullshit, you're still rocking it.
Everyone I listed above has dozens of allegations against them. Yet they got away with it for years. Mostly because each single voice was individually seperated and buried so they could never group together for the strength needed for actual justice.
The question you should be asking is: Why aren't we listening to the allegations of EVERY individual when a new person comes forward?
Why is every new claim presented as something new by the media? Why are the consensus of voices saying the same thing downplayed as "dozens of others" instead of looked at with the slightest bit of credibility?

I remember back in the day, everyone used to say topher grace was an asshole irl because he refused to hang out with masterson , kutcher and valderama outside of work. Convictions for sexual assault are made based on testimony alone all the time. They're often made years after the fact when all physical evidence is gone.
No wonder the US justice system is a joke.
What do you plan to do when childhood sexual abuse is uncovered decades after the fact?
Give the alleged victim ample psychological and legal support.
Attempt to gather evidence that abuse took place, if possible and, if so, convict.

He's made it abundantly clear how he treats women, and it doesn't help that he got caught in obvious lies.

but in a reasonable world, a victim’s testimony is evidence but not proof… evidence is enough to investigate and look for proof, and enough witnesses becomes as good as proof.
