Problems only exist if you know about them. We learned this already when too much testing led to too much covid.

They stopped testing and covid went away, if that isn't definitive scientific proof testing was causing covid I don't know what is!

The greatest danger to the environment is no longer greenhouse gases but rather Trump himself.

There is no way trump knows there are greenhouse gas satellites. Who is the one that bring this up to Trump?

This is the work of the Project 2025 people. They seriously got their shit together this time.

Every other news story from the USA reads like

The Devastating Avalanche has Picked Up another Institution on its Way Down, Down, Down

You could just say you took them down but not actually do it. Not like he can just go to space and check. And even if you publish the data it's not like he's smart enough to realize it's still there and he'll probably just blame China or some shit. 90% of what this man says is just to make his base happy even if nothing happens.

This would take courage. NASA no longer has any.

You do realize the "interim" NASA administrator is a MAGA CHUD from Fox News, right?

[–] TommySoda@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Yeah, and the man probably doesn't even know what a satellite even looks like outside of stock photos and TV.

My hope is they somehow transfer ownership and control to the EU under his nose.

[–] ThePantser@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 week ago

Oops someone leaked the access codes and now they are no longer under NASA control. Guess they will need to stay up there and keep sending data.
