Alongside the ZR1/ZR1X laps, GM also did an official lap of the Z06, 7:11.826 on the 20,832m lap, Cup 2R with the Carbon wheels, driven by Chevrolet's Global Vehicle Performance Manager: Aero Link. Something something nominative determinism

Similar cars incl. GT4RS which did a 7:09.3, and the 992.1 GT3 which did a 6:59.9, both of those on the same tyre. Still a solid lap, not perfect but I don't quite see the sub-7 misha says it could do though I am sure he knows far better than I do and I'd be happy to be proven wrong

Can't help but feel a tiny bit disappointed there, you can see the issues with gearing on the main straight as well, the GT3 is like ~15mph quicker before the last hill.

Sounds incredible though. Data recorder looks good too
