In 2015, some weapons, like the bludgeon (https://i.imgur.com/nQFn4Vu.png all 3 styles are crush/aggressive) or the trident of the seas/swamp/gauntlet/sang staff (https://i.imgur.com/SlkuICJ.png) were given additional false styles so that when you swapped from, say, a scimitar on aggressive to a trident, you wouldn't start casting on defensive. This happened because the the style that was selected on weapon change was the same style that would have landed on the corresponding square. Since aggressive is the 2nd square, and trident defensive was also the second square, this caused issues, especially among pures, or people annoyed that bludgeon had 1 style and they would always switch back into accurate if they switched to another weapon.
In 2019, attack styles were changed so that they were now 'remembered' from one weapon to the next, making these superfluous style squares useless.
It's not an important change, but it probably generates some confusion among newer players, and personally, I think it looks bad and is a vestige of a bandaid update.
