I'm not sure how other people feel, but I find most multiverse stories to be rather dull and trite.
Marvel has such an easy win that it's insane they don't do it. Just go back to some of the older comics and adapt those. There are lots of older comic storylines that would be amazing to see in theaters but instead they choose to go straight for the modern comics that have led to a significant collapse in the comic book industry...
