I have no hope that us kiwis can learn anything. We are running headlong into MAGA territory being led by Winston and Seymour. We are as dumb as the Americans we used to make fun of and it looks like just as cruel and evil.
This is a pretty accurate depiction of the PM and of NZ politics in general at the moment.
short of Aunty Helen coming back, there’s precious few political figures we still believe in. (Christ, I’d even take Bill English at this point.)
This is true and pretty damning...
I mean there is always Chloe.
Whilst she is ok, there is little chance of the Green party being in the driver seat any time soon.
We live in a time of great chaos and anger. I wouldn't rule anything out. I am not saying it's likely or anything, just not impossible.
