Hopefully us kiwis learn that austerity is BS and doesn't work faster than the UK did before turfing their tories out.

I have no hope that us kiwis can learn anything. We are running headlong into MAGA territory being led by Winston and Seymour. We are as dumb as the Americans we used to make fun of and it looks like just as cruel and evil.

We live in a time of great chaos and anger. I wouldn't rule anything out. I am not saying it's likely or anything, just not impossible.
