8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

The US has let Israel steer US foreign policy in the region since at least Trump 1 admin, but the US still holds all the power in this dynamic and could force Israel to stop anytime if they really wanted to (they don't)
John Mearsheimer argues that the Israel lobby sets US foreign policy in the Middle East, and has done so for decades, notwithstanding that the US holds all the power.
If you've not heard of Mearsheimer before he was interviewed by Tucker Carlson recently.
Well of course, we're the ones that attacked them after all.
The three that are in jail. What are they? CIA? If I was a betting man that would be my bet. Caught either spying or sowing dissent. Trying to spur a movement for regime change.
More likely they're relatively innocent people held as political hostage-prisoners until they can be swapped for someone or something Iran wants.
