I don't think this poster is effective, I actually think it is unhelpful, my graphic design eye COMPLETELY focuses on the 7% of red people and ignores the rest of the information and worse this graphic doesn't contextualize how frequent violent crime offenses are when a random sample of US citizens are taken and examined.
If I was a bigot or even just a naive centrist I would see this poster, see the scary red people prominently displayed and conclude "7%!?! that is a LOT of criminals!" because NO context is given.
facepalm what is it with liberalism and unconciously undermining its own message?
Is there a better source for this info? This sounds damning.
Most people view it as a rule of law thing. If you are here beyond your visa there are rules that say you should be deported. That has been ignored or dodged for a long time and we've built up a large number of illegal aliens that shouldn't be here. If we had enforcement all along it wouldn't be near as much of an issue as it is now.
I also understand that there needs to be actual due process for this and it's being bypassed for the majority of deportations now. It's a massive issue leading to things like those on court ordered deferments being taken illegally like Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
The biggest problem with the graphic is that "no convictions" doesn't mean no crime. Being here illegally is a crime.
Dorn fight back pls keep talking about the files. The files bro look at the files trust me bro.
