The death toll has been at “60 thousand” for over a year. It was far passed 60 thousand when they pulled that number out of their asses. reports and tallies have it clocked at atleast 430 thousand. That is a conservative number.

Don’t resort to ad hominem attacks against another user or insult other people, examples of violations would be going after the person rather than the stance they take.
If we feel the comment is uncalled for we will remove it. Stay civil and there won't be problems.

Under no circumstance are you allowed to promote or advertise any product or service

Content that makes claims or implications that can be proven false or misleading will be removed.

Please try and keep headlines similar to the source articles headlines.

No political ads of any type are to be posted on r/oregon. Discussion is fine. This includes Oregonians' posts telling people who or what to vote for.

I've been seeing estimates which I considered at least semi-credible of total excess deaths as high as 400-500K but I can't remember what orgs were saying that, just that they were factoring in disease, untreated medical conditions, lost under the rubble, etc.
Super disappointed in Wyden on this.
I made sure to let him know, in absolutely blistering terms.
What's to even think about??? Are the guns being used on civilians--- if yes then vote fucking no!
