The last time I went to a McDonalds was probably two decades ago, and only to use their washroom.🤗

Stopped buying McD’s about 6-7yrs ago. I would eat their breakfast all the time. Then I had to make mine at home for reasons for a bit. Noticed I was hungry about a half hour after I ate McD’s but not when I made brekky at home.

The leaf has been on McDonald's Canada for as long as I can remember... but I haven't eaten at a Canadian McDonalds this year at all.

I really hope McyD’s runs away from Canada and new Canadian fast food joints take over. I do not want McDicks to do what A&W did and create a new company that is some other company separate from the US A&W.

@avidamoeba

Tim Horton's is also American Owned.

Boycotting American dominance and takeover and Trumps invasion promise, will SHOCK Canadians at how much of their country has been given away nearly free.

Boycott Home Depot. Big time. Owners have funded Trump, Trumpism and the far far right for decades

Home Depot is PART of the INVASION.

Research to deepen the boycotts.

@kevinrns @avidamoeba the Home Hardware World Domination Headquarters is just two blocks from my house, so let me encourage you to switch from the capitalist Home Depot to the Canadian Home Hardware.

Home Hardware has mostly left my area. Thankfully, there’s Rona and a local Tim-Br-Mart that is mostly locally owned and operated, so that’s where I get most stuff.

Timmies is international now, and their HQ is in Canada.

RBI’s principal executive offices are in Miami, Florida. In North America, RBI’s brands are headquartered in their home markets where they were founded decades ago: Canada for Tim Hortons and the U.S. for Burger King, Popeyes and Firehouse Subs.

While RBI is headquartered in Toronto, Canada, and pays corporate taxes there, it's often mistakenly perceived as a Canadian company, largely due to the presence of Tim Hortons

[–] HellsBelle@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 hours ago

But it's not headquartered in Canada. The Tim Horton's office is ... but BK, Popeyes and Firehouse Subs are headquartered in the US.

Oh so it's not a new phenomenon. I'm not regular and I hadn't noticed it.

All good.

It isn’t new for them, but fuck every cent crossing the border anyway.
